Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Command (the “Service”) operated by SolidState Digital (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using Command you agree to these Terms.
1. Parties / Service
Command is operated by SolidState Digital. The Service helps you connect Gmail or Outlook mailboxes, sync and organise email, triage senders, apply labels, and use AI-assisted tools such as reply drafts, todos, and synthesis reports.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service. Your use is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
2. Plans & entitlements
Command is offered on the following plans. Feature limits may be enforced server-side and can change as described in section 9.
| Feature | Free | Starter ($8/mo) | Plus ($15/mo) | Unlimited ($30/mo) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Inboxes | 1 | 1 | Up to 3 | Unlimited |
| Sync depth | ≤ 30 days | Full sync including lifetime history | ||
| Live sync | No | Yes | ||
| AI analyses / month | 100 | Unlimited | ||
| Synthesis reports / month | 2 (no schedule or articles) | Unlimited (including schedule & articles) | ||
| Reply AI / month | 20 | Unlimited | ||
| Todo extractions / month | 30 | Unlimited | ||
| Daily digest | Yes | Yes | ||
Current plan details are also summarised on our Pricing page.
3. Fair use
Features described as “unlimited” are subject to reasonable fair use. The Unlimited plan may include a soft inbox ceiling enforced only server-side and not marketed as a hard product limit. Abuse, automated extraction at scale, or other misuse may still be subject to rate limits, throttling, or suspension regardless of plan.
4. Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can subscribe via Stripe Checkout and manage payment methods, invoices, and plan changes through the Stripe Customer Portal. Mid-cycle plan switches are prorated according to Stripe’s billing behaviour for the subscription.
5. Upgrades / downgrades
When you upgrade, new entitlements apply according to your updated plan. When you downgrade or otherwise lose a capability:
- Live sync ends immediately for any account whose plan no longer includes it.
- If you have more connected inboxes than your new plan allows after a Portal change, you must choose per over-cap inbox: Keep (retain on a plan that covers it), Pause (keep Command data for that inbox but stop active sync/use under the over-cap state), or Disconnect (delete Command data for that inbox). Your provider mailbox (Gmail or Outlook) is never deleted by these actions.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. After cancellation, you retain paid-plan access until the end of the current billing period, after which your account moves to the Free tier (or loses paid entitlements) as applicable.
7. Free tier
The Free plan does not require a payment card. Quotas reset on a monthly UTC calendar basis. Exhausting a Free-tier quota does not delete your data; limited features simply become unavailable until the next reset or until you upgrade.
8. Comp / discretionary access
We may grant complimentary, trial, partner, or other discretionary access to paid features at our sole discretion. Such access may be modified or revoked at any time and does not create an entitlement to continued paid features without a matching subscription.
9. Changes to plans
We may change plan names, prices, entitlements, or fair-use enforcement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on the Pricing page and/or these Terms (including the “Last updated” date). Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms for ongoing use; existing paid subscriptions are handled in line with applicable billing and notice practices.
